Chris Cubitt is a Christchurch-based production sound mixer and audio supervisor with more than a decade of experience across film, drama, documentary, reality, and commercial production. Known for his calm, solutions-focused approach and technical precision, Chris specialises in delivering pristine location sound in demanding and unpredictable environments.

His work spans both scripted and unscripted formats, from the feature film Holy Days (Firefly, NZ) to large-scale reality series including The Traitors NZ, Race to Survive: Aotearoa, and The Summit. In 2025, Chris returned as audio supervisor for The Traitors Australia Season 3 and The Traitors NZ Season 3, building on his experience designing 24 radio-mic systems for this dynamic show.

Chris also recently travelled to the Arctic as the Location Sound Recordist for a Natural History documentary—further demonstrating his adaptability in extreme locations.
